IBM's Serious Games


We can find many various definition of a "Serious Game", but today, it is commonly accepted that “Serious Games (aka Educational Games) are games designed for a primary purpose other than entertainment.

Serious Games are the accepted term for games with a learning objective: knowledge acquisition, skills building or behaviours change.

Serious Games encompass Analog Games (Board Game, Role Playing Games, Cards Games) and Digital Games (2D-3D, Full interactivity mode, Multi Player Mode, real time mode…).
